Mima is a mobile app designed to help pet owners and animal caregivers manage essential information, coordinate care, and support animal wellbeing. The project involved user research, UX/UI design, and interactive prototyping, exploring how digital tools can simplify everyday pet care and create a more organized, collaborative, and accessible experience. As pets are becoming an important part of the family, Mima responds to the need for a thoughtful and reliable way to keep track of their care.
Mima helps caregivers organize and access essential information about their animals in one place. Users can create profiles for multiple pets, track feeding routines, vaccination schedules, medications, and store important documents such as medical records and test results.
The app also supports shared caregiving by allowing multiple users to access the same pet profile, making it easier for families, professional caregivers, or pet sitters to stay informed and coordinated.
To further support animal wellbeing, Mima includes a donation section where users can discover and contribute to nearby registered animal shelters, creating a connection between pet owners and local rescue communities.
